Tonight, February 15th, join the Scott Foster Quartet from 5:30-8:00pm at Bird & Beckett, featuring four superb players encountering each other for the first time as a unit, though they’ve all crossed paths in the past. It’s the nature of most jazz gigs, and one of the things that makes this music so exciting. Scott, Rob, Dan and Eric will bring their ears and their experience to the bandstand where they’ll bring some originals and find common ground on familiar jazz standards, revealing new approaches each time out!
Scott’s been on the Friday night “jazz in the bookshop” gigs since late 2002, which has resulted in 16+ years of uninterrupted Friday music after work. With Scott at the helm, a new band with a fresh direction brings live music to Glen Park on the third Friday of each month.
