City Agency Hearings + Mandelman Legislation

The BOS Land Use and Transportation Committee will meet Monday, January 14, 1:30 p.m., in City Hall, room 250. Agenda

The SFMTA Board of Directors will meet Tuesday, January 15, 1 p.m., in City Hall, room 400. See agenda and supporting documents here.

  • Board elections, which may result in a shake-up for the body that overseas SFMTA, according to this Examiner article.
  • (10.3) Amending Transportation Code…..(4) revise the procedure for a Final SFMTA Decision that is subject to San Francisco Board of Supervisors review. Staff slide presentation
    [Ed note: this is the compliance with recently passed BOS legislation making it easier to protest MTA decisions.]

The Ingleside Police Station Community Meeting will happen Tuesday, January 15, 7 p.m., at Ingleside Station, 1 Sgt. John V. Young Lane (near Balboa Park) in the Ingleside Station Community Room.

The Architectural Review Committee will meet Wednesday, January 16, 11:30 a.m., in City Hall, room 400. Agenda

The Historic Preservation Commission will meet Wednesday, January 16, 12:30 p.m., in City Hall, room 400. Agenda

  • 10. Economic Trends and the Housing Pipeline.
    This Informational Presentation will focus on economic trends and the pipeline of housing projects. The sustained economic growth in San Francisco for more than eight years is raising questions on the length and shape of the current economic cycle. Staff will address these questions by reviewing housing and job indicators as well as details on the recent pipeline of housing projects.

@glen_parkmerchantssf would like to thank all the volunteers who helped pick up trash on Saturday, Valentine’s Day! Not only was it a monthly cleanup in Glen Park.. it was a wonderful way to be in community and an expression of our love for #SanFrancisco ❤️!

33 bags of trash outta here! 🙌🏽

A big thank you to @avenuegreenlight for their generous support for our snacks and refreshments, @canyonmarket for their wonderful fruit/cupcakes and drinks, @pebblescafesf for their delicious coffee, @critterfritterspetfood for hosting, @sfpublicworks for the supplies and trash pick up, and @refuserefusesf for their continued support in bringing our community together!
