City Agency Hearings + Sheehy Legislation

Late update: SF Planning reports that last week’s hearing of an Appeal of Determination of Exemption from Environmental Review  for 43 Everson was tabled.

The SFMTA Board of Directors meets Tuesday, September 19, 1 p.m. in City Hall, room 400. See full agenda here.

  • G. ESTABLISH – TOW-AWAY NO PARKING ANYTIME − Diamond Street, east side, from Diamond Heights Boulevard to 117 feet northerly.
  • 13. Amending Transportation Code, Division II, to create a private transit vehicle permit program, including application requirements, permit terms and conditions, fees, and administrative penalties. (Explanatory documents include a staff report, resolution and amendments.)
    Editor’s note: this has to do with licensing Chariot and other “jitneys”

BART police reported the following crime at Glen Park station. Read BART crime reports here.

Petty Theft
A victim reported the theft of his bicycle and helmet while they were locked to the racks at the station with a cable lock. Occurred on 8/3/2017 between 0900 – 1800 hours. Late report, as victim initially filed an online report with the San Francisco Police Department.

Ordinance amending the Police Code to require rental car companies to provide written disclosures to customers advising them to remove valuables from the rental vehicle and lock the doors.

  • 1. 170955 [Accept and Expend Grant – The Regents of the University of California, Office of the President – PrEP-T: Advancing PrEP Delivery in the Transgender Community – $144,996]

Resolution retroactively authorizing the Department of Public Health to accept and expend a grant in the amount of $144,996 from The Regents of the University of California, Office of the President to participate in a program entitled PrEP-T: Advancing PrEP Delivery in the Transgender Community for the period of April 1, 2016, through March 31, 2018. (Public Health Department)
