The victim yelled out his window, to the suspect, which caused him to flee the area. Multiple Ingleside units searched the area for the subject, to no avail. While investigating the victim’s vehicle, Officer Pedersen found two distinct footprints on the hood of the victim’s car. The officers then received a call describing continued vandalism in the area. The officers responded to the scene and observed several damaged vehicles. While on scene, the officers observed a man who matched the description of the suspect the victim had given to the officers earlier. He was detained for questioning, along with an associate that he was with. The suspect stated that he and his associate were walking their dogs in the neighborhood, and that he was on his way to visit his girlfriend on Fillmore.
