08:00 am, 100 blk Addison, False Personation for Money
A woman responded to Ingleside Station and told Officer Lee that someone, pretending to be her, had sent solicitous emails to several of her contacts. The woman showed Officer Lee that someone had somehow contacted people whom she knows and contacts via email requesting money to be sent to her in London, England. The victim stated she had never been to London and did not request any funds be sent to her by any of her contacts. She did not know how many people had been contacted in this fraudulent action. 06:45 am, 100 blk Fairmount, Stolen Auto

12:02 am, 2500 blk Diamond, Resisting Arrest
Officers Khan and Jones responded to a family fight call with Officers Gonzales, Kabanuck, Hermosura and Contreras. The officers met with a woman in the house who stated that her husband was intoxicated and belligerent. The officers located the man in the back yard of the home. When they contacted him he was belligerent with them and struck at the officers. He was taken into custody. He was taken to Ingleside Station where he was cited and released. A medic unit transported the man to an area hospital for treatment for an injury he caused to himself prior to the officers arrival. Report number 110126118

03:52 pm, Paradise/Elk, Traffic Collision

02:20 am, 5400 blk Diamond Hghts, Shot Fired
Officers Padilla and Ma responded to a shots fired call. The officers located shell casings in the roadway, but did not discover any property damage or injured individuals in the area. Report number 110129679

09:41 am, 2300 blk Diamond, Shooting into Dwelling
Officer Morgante responded to a shooting into dwelling call. The victim told the officer that she heard shots fired during the night then noticed damage to her home in the morning. The officer found that several properties in the area had been damaged on the front of the homes and fences. Report number 110129673

05:00 pm, 5500 blk Diamond Hgts, Shooting into Dwelling
Officer Kabanuck was called to investigate damage to a home from a shooting incident. The officer located and seized a spent casing from the incident and documented the damage to the home. Report number 110129673

07:42 pm, 200 blk Arlington, Methamphetamine Offense
Officers Hurwitz, Daggett, Tam and Burke responded to a residence after receiving an anonymous compliant regarding suspicious activity in front of the home. The officers located three men who were loading a truck with furniture and other items. The officers knew two of the men from prior contacts. The officers exercised the probation search condition of one of the men and discovered methamphetamine on the other. The suspect with narcotics was taken into custody and booked at Ingleside Station. We need volunteers to staff the barricades at each of the nine intersections.
There are three shifts:
• 5:00-6:30 (setup)
• 6:30-8:00
• 8:00-9:30 (breakdown)
