At Glen Canyon Park Recreation Center’s Auditorium
(located inside the park, near the intersection of Elk & Chenery Streets)
We will be presenting and discussing the improvements you can expect to see near the Elk Street entrance to Glen Canyon Park, including:
- The new design for the park’s entrance and pathway to the Recreation Center from Elk Street;
- The new tennis courts;
- The renovated and expanded playground; and
- The new restrooms to be added to the Recreation Center.
The designs for all these improvements incorporate the input we have received from neighbors and community members throughout the park planning process, which began in the Fall of 2010 and will be finishing shortly. We would love to get more input from parents, kids, neighbors and everyone who uses and cares about the park at the December 10th community meeting. We hope to see you there!
Meeting materials will be posted on our website http://sfrecpark.org/glenParkProject.aspxfollowing the meeting. We will be accepting feedback until December 19th.
