Glen Park Greenway; Planning Workshop #3 – November 19

November 14, 2015 by Elizabeth Weise

map2Glen Park Greenway; Planning Workshop #3 – November 19

Greetings –

The final planning workshop for the Glen Park Greenway Concept Plan will be
on Thursday, November 19, as detailed below. Also here is information about
how you can join the members of the Glen Park Association (GPA) as we cast
votes and decide about the adoption of this Concept Plan.

The third and final planning Workshop will be next Thursday, November 19,
2015 from 6:30 to 9:30 pm at St John School at 925 Chenery Street. We will
meet in a classroom (not in the gym), so enter through the main Chenery
Street entrance. You can park in the parking lot (entrance on Chenery St).
At this meeting Surfacedesign, our landscape architects, will present their
proposal and we will have an opportunity to consider it and discuss any
remaining adjustments.

The result of this meeting will be a proposal that we will present for
consideration at the GPA quarterly meeting in January 2016 (provisionally
scheduled for January 21). We will ask the GPA members for their approval by
a formal vote. Voting members are those who renew their current membership
by the January meeting.  If you are not already a member of GPA, and you’d
like to vote at that meeting, you must join GPA at least 30 days before the
meeting. Annual membership costs $10. Membership is open to residents or
owners of property in Glen Park within the boundaries described in section
301(A) of GPA’s by-laws that you will find
<http://www.glenparkassociation.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/bylaws.pdf> on GPA’s
website. If you’re unsure about your eligibility, contact
<mailto:membership@glenparkassociation.org>
membership@glenparkassociation.org and ask for help.

Please join in any of the following ways:

*  Send you name, home address, email address, and phone number, with a
check for $10 per voting member to the Glen Park Association, PO Box 31292,
San Francisco, CA 94131-0292.

*  Go to the  <http://glenparkassociation.org/donate-to-the-gpa/>
“Join/Renew” page of our website  <http://www.glenpark/> www.GlenPark
<http://association.org/> Association.org and pay via Paypal or other means.

*  Come to GPA’s Holiday Party at the Sunnyside Conservatory on December 13,
2015 and join up there.

I hope that you’ll be able to join us next Thursday evening.
