Glen Park is open for business — Update May 26, 2020

May 26, 2020 by Bonnee Waldstein

San Francisco is taking a cautious approach to opening our local economy.  While California counties are entering Phase 2 of the shutdown in full force, in which barbershops and hair salons may open, San Francisco has opted out of reopening certain businesses, and is going much more slowly.  However, a new Shared Spaces Program, brought to us by the city’s Economic Recovery Task Force, will allow business activities to take place on outdoor public spaces, offering some relief to our strapped small businesses.

Close to home in Glen Park, we’re finding that some local businesses that had shut down entirely, are now opening, albeit still with limited hours.  Others have increased their hours. We’re so grateful to our local businesses that are going all out to serve our community.

Here’s the latest information we could gather. Those businesses with an (*) indicate a change from our previous post on April 19.
