You did it! The Glen Park Greenway project has won District 8 Participatory Budgeting funding for the Greenway Boundary Survey! Thank you to all in District 8 who supported the Greenway’s application for funds in District 8’s first Participatory Budgeting Process. Thank you, Supervisor Sheehy, for the opportunity to help decide where the City’s budget should be spent.
The Greenway Boundary Survey got the third biggest number of votes of the 11 winning projects. This survey will allow us to start the process of planning, funding, and building an improved trail between Chilton and Burnside Avenues in 2019 and 2020.
Greenway supporters can also participate at our next Work Party on Saturday, May 12, from 9 AM-12 PM. Meet at the top of the Chilton Ave. cul-de-sac for a cup of coffee, work with us until noon, and enjoy lunch sandwiches afterward.
