Dear members of the Glen Park Association,
The SFMTA invites you to attend a District 8 Open House to learn about Transportation 2030 – the proposed infrastructure investment program proposed for the November 2014 ballot. Through three ballot measures and two funding sources, Transportation 2030 will provide $1.5 billion to complete hundreds of transportation infrastructure projects throughout the city by 2030.
The funds will go toward street paving, new Muni vehicles, transit stop and route upgrades, pedestrian safety enhancements, well-defined bikeways, accessibility improvements, and other infrastructure investments that will help us reach our Strategic Plan goals.
Our team is preparing for a series of community Open Houses in May and June with the District Supervisors. The District 8 Open House is taking place on Wednesday, June 4, 5:30-7:00 PM at the LGBT Center on 1800 Market Street – please see attached for invitation. Hopefully you will be able to spread the word to your members.
