Thank you all for making 2025 such a remarkable year. Because of your dedication, professionalism, and teamwork, we continue to move our city in the right direction. As we closed out the year, crime was down nearly 30% citywide, homicides reached their lowest level since the 1950s, and car break-ins dropped to a two-decade low. These results speak directly to the technologies in use, the support from outside agencies, and the hard work from our officers and their commitment to the people of San Francisco.
