Burnside Mural+ is thrilled to report that the process for making the tiled stairway is underway!
Aileen Barr and Colette Crutcher, our wonderfully talented artists, spent the month of January creating a full-scale mockup of the stairway. It consists of six-foot-wide brown paper with lines for each of the 69 risers, the outlines of the design, within which the location of each handmade tile must fit perfectly.
Upon completion of the mockup, the artists determined that there is room for 12 additional tiles. The cost is $350 for up to 15 characters and $500 for up to 30 characters.

We will confirm availability in the order of when the request is made so that you can complete your donation and inscription. This is a last call for anyone interested in purchasing a tile. First come, first serve!
Fabrication is set to start shortly. The window for this opportunity will close on February 10th.
If all stays on schedule, Glen Park will have a gorgeous tiled stairway to accompany our wonderful mural in September or October of this year.
