Noe Valley Garden Tour, Saturday, May 17

April 28, 2025 by Frank Schlier

Mark your calendars for this year’s Noe Valley Garden Tour, which is on Saturday, May 17th.

Featured gardens will showcase a variety of styles. You may visit a mature, lush oasis at a wonderful B & B, a front terraced garden with roses, bamboo, ferns, and Japanese Maples, a serene Zen space for meditation, an intimate backyard sanctuary with multitudes of flowering plants, and several more stunners!  Several gardens will be showing local artists’ works and there will be live music in select gardens. And again this year is a plant-swap at the Noe Café on Sanchez from 10am -1pm.  Bring a cutting or plant to swap with something new!

The tour will be held on Saturday, May 17th from 10am to 4pm with 10 gardens bursting with greenery and color. Ticket prices remain unchanged at $20 for adults and $18 for seniors 62+. Children under 12 are free. Tickets are being sold at:

  • When Modern Was – 4001 24th St
  • Just for Fun – 3982 24th St
  • Olive This, Olive That – 304 Vicksburg St
  • Omnivore Books – 3885 Cesar Chavez St
  • Noe Valley Books – 3957 24th St
  • Farmers Market – Saturdays at Noe Valley Town Square

Tickets can also be purchased at the Farmer’s Market in the Town Square on 24th St on Saturdays (9am – noon) May 3rd, 10th, and 17th, and on Thursday April 29th (4 – 7pm).  You may also purchase tickets online at friendsofnoevalley.com.

Raffle tickets will be sold with great prizes donated by local merchants. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the same locations as Garden Tour tickets, at the Saturday Farmer’s Market and on the day of the Tour at all of the gardens. Tickets are $1 each and 30 for $20.

As always, a donation to a beautification project in the neighborhood will be made with Garden Tour proceeds.

The Tour is still in need of Garden Greeters! If you would like to volunteer, please email lindalockyer3@gmail.com. Shifts are two hours and Garden Greeters will receive a free ticket to the Tour.

We look forward to seeing you on May 17th!

  • Each year, proceeds from the Garden Tour are donated to a neighborhood beautification project. If you know of a deserving project, send an email to Peggy at mpcling@gmail.com
  • The Garden Tour is also a wonderful volunteer opportunity. If you’d like to get involved – that’s right – send an email to Linda at lindalockyer3@gmail.com
