Dear Community Members,
I am reaching out regarding the San Francisco Transportation Plan, or SFTP, the blueprint for the city’s transportation system development and investment over the next 30 years.
The plan analyzes all transportation options like transit, walking, driving, and biking to set investment priorities and advance the city’s goal to build an effective, equitable, and sustainable transportation system. The SFTP also positions San Francisco projects for federal, state, and regional funds.
Every two years, we update the countywide plan. This update, which we refer to as “SFTP+,” incorporates post-pandemic travel trends and updated revenue estimates.
We would like to share information about SFTP+, and more importantly, answer questions and hear your thoughts.
