Suzanne Kramer Quartet at Bird & Beckett Sunday 4:30-7:30

July 21, 2011 by Elizabeth Weise

From Suzanne Kramer:

Hi everyone! Just wanted to send out an email to remind you of our premiere show this Sunday at Bird and Beckett Books and Records!

We really appreciate your support and hope you can make the show. It starts at 4:30 and will go til 7:30. Kids are invited!

Thanks so much,

Suzanne

You can hear some preview tracks here. Click the yellow bar at the bottom.

I’ll be backed by three great musicians; Michael Parsons on piano, Wally Schnalle on drums, and Doug Pohorski on bass.

The show is on SUNDAY afternoon at 4:30pm on JULY 24th.

Bird and Beckett Books and Records
653 Chenery St., San Francisco, CA 94131

Kids are invited! Very casual and cool place to hear good music.

The venue is this great little bookstore in San Fran’s Glen Park neighborhood (just a minute off 280 for the folks from the south bay and penninsula) – Glen Park has ample parking, is very safe and friendly, and has a few really good eateries (see links below).

Bird and Beckett hosts jazz and other music regularly on Fridays and Sundays. They have top names, so I’m very lucky to have a chance to perform here. There will be wine and other beverages available for a small donation. There is no cover, but they ask everyone to donate money to keep the music going. Their books selection is eclectic, with a combination of both new and used books. They also have a cool record section in the back.

I hope you can make it!

Thanks,

Suz

Eateries:
