Urban Angels SF is in the middle of its most important and impactful program of the year, the 5th Annual School Supplies & Backpacks program.
UASF has committed to giving 1,000 children who are homeless and living in shelters in SF brand new backpacks filled with new school supplies. Each kit costs $25 so it needs to raise $25,000 to cover this expense.
UASF’s biggest donor the last two years was First Republic Bank. Now they are gone and this year private donations are down for some reason. As a result, only $4,900 of the $25,000 needed has been raised.
Education is the best way to lift these children out of their situations and put them on a path to a better life.
