Once again, and for the 30th year, there will be carved pumpkins at the Vellas at 354 Sussex this Halloween.
We’ve completed 45 new foam pumpkin carvings. There will be 40 organic pumpkins carved over four days and put out Halloween night carved by me, my daughter Dr. Maya Vella (UCSF radiologist), and some of her friends. As well, 80 foam ones from prior years will be displayed.
An Ecuadorian artist, Oswaldo Guayasamin, will be featured.
