Glen Park’s gobsmackingly gorgeous tiled steps!

Burnside Steps (between #s50 and 59 Burnside Avenue)
We will be joined by Supervisor Mandelman and the brilliant artists, Aileen Barr and Colette Crutcher and other special guests for a ribbon cutting.
The stairway has been turned into a stream with schools of fish, an embankment of plants and flowers, plus birds and other critters that children (and adults) will love. A centerpiece is a glorious sun of burnt oranges and yellows, that literally sparkles. As you walk up the steps there are tiles with heartwarming messages that speak of loved ones. For those who have a legacy tile and have been waiting to see it, do join for the festivities and be prepared to touch and be touched by the work of the artists.
