Arlington Cut Clean-Up June 29

June 19, 2019 by Heather World

What: Improve the Arlington/San Jose Cut
When: Saturday, June 29, 9 a.m. to noon
Where: Meet at Roanoke and Arlington
Join your neighbors and the City’s Fix-It team for this year’s summer Arlington Cut Clean-Up on Saturday, June 29, from 9 a.m. to noon.

This season’s focus will be fennel. Let no frond go un-cut!

Specifically, we hope specially trained city crews will be able to clear the fennel behind the fence along the cut behind the 300- and 400-blocks of Arlington. We will also maintain spots that were previously cleaned.

Added bonus: Community Outreach on FUF Tree Nursery Proposal!

Take a break from weeding and join your neighbors to listen to a proposal from the Friends of the Urban Forest (FUF) and Public Works for a tree nursery along Arlington open space.

Bring your kids, bring your comfortable clothes, bring your community-minded attitude! Fix It will supply the rest. Questions? RSVP? Email fixitteam@sfgov.org or info@glenparkassociation.org
