BART elevator repair

September 27, 2016 by Heather World

Forwarded from BART. Contact info at the bottom of the post.

Elevator Flooring Repair Work Glen Park 10/3 to 10/7/2016

We will begin work at Glen Park Station to replace the floor in the elevator that serves the platform for all trains Monday, October 3. The work will take approximately until Friday, October 7. We will be upgrading the splash guards and flooring in the elevator to prevent liquid from flowing under the floor and to make cleaning the elevator easier.

There will be no elevator available while this work is being done. If you need to use an elevator to access the platform or station, you will have to travel to either 24th Street or Balboa Park stations.

To check if an elevator is in service before arriving at a station, please call 510-834-LIFT (510-834-5438) or 888-2-ELEVAT (888-235-3828), or sign up for elevator status alerts at www.bart.gov/elevators. If you arrive at a station and find that the elevator(s) are out of service, you may contact a Station Agent to arrange for a lift van to take you to a nearby station with a working elevator.

We apologize for the great inconvenience this will cause you and appreciate your patience while we perform this important repair work.
