We’re very excited to welcome the debut of the Check ’em Out Book Club, a new book club for adults that meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 1:00-3:00, starting this Tuesday, September 3rd. Get to know fellow members of the club and select your first read. Along with Check ’em Out, we also host a Graphic Novel Book Club for ages 9–13 and a Junior Readers Book Club for ages 6–8.
This year we’re also trying out a new Homework Hangout for ages 11–18 Tuesdays after school from 3:30-5:00. Bring your school projects and your middle or high school friends to get your homework done. Although the room is unstaffed, librarians can refer youth to tutoring help and library resources and help answer any of their questions. Snacks available upon request!
