Do you have a Muni lover in your family or are you interested to learn more about how and when your young one can take public transit safely? Join us for a Ride and Read event at various library locations Saturdays in September, where you’ll get to engage with SFMTA staff, ride between libraries with a group, and create your own souvenir.
Speaking of safety, is your block SF Ready? Wednesday, September 17th at 6pm the San Francisco Fire Department and the Neighborhood Emergency Response Team (NERT) will teach us what we should know to prepare ourselves personally, as a business and as a community for a disaster, large or small.
Along with these wonderful opportunities to connect with other City services, we’re also offering crafts, films, community conversations, and so many more wonderful events at the library. Stop by to check out a book, movie, CD, or an engaging program.
As always, this update shares a very small sampling of the many programs and experiences you can enjoy free at the library this month. To find out about all the Glen Park Library activities, stop by to pick up an events pamphlet, visit our website, and subscribe to the monthly Glen Park Branch Library newsletter.
