1:07am 500 blk Arlington Burglary Arrest
Officers McMilton and Peregrina were dispatched on an assault and burglary that had just occurred. The officers arrived and spoke to the victim who told them that a known suspect had broken into her home and attacked her. The suspect had just fled when the officer arrived. The victim told the officers that the suspect may be hiding close by. The officers sprang into action and spread a dragnet in order to apprehend this dangerous suspect.
Numerous Ingleside Officer responded for backup. After securing a perimeter the officers learned that the suspect was hiding next door from a neighbor. The officers quickly surrounded the home and contacted the occupants. Eventually the officers made entry and searched for the suspect. The suspect was located inside the home along with another subject. The two men were detained.
The victim positively identified one of the men as the suspect by his face and the fact that he was still wearing the same clothing. It was later learned that the suspect found an open window and climbed in.
The quick response from Ingleside officers led to the arrest of a hot prowl burglar with positive identification. This suspect will spend this Halloween in an orange jumpsuit costume with numbers on the front and back at San Bruno Prison! Nice treat for the citizens in the Ingleside.
Report number 120788930. This is the ***Best Arrest of the Day***

10:00pm 2900 blk Diamond Robbery
Officer Crispin responded to the 2900 block of Diamond Street on a robbery call. When he arrived, he met with the victim who was waiting for the bus at the bus stop. Moments later, a Honda Civic pulled up to the curb directly in front of her and the front passenger/suspect asked to use her cell phone to make a call. The victim herself dialed the phone number that was given by the suspect, but there was no answer. The suspect then asked the victim if she had dialed the correct number and asked to see the phone. While still holding onto the phone, the victim showed the suspect the phone. Suddenly, the suspect grabbed the phone out of the victim’s hands as the vehicle sped off. The victim was unable to hold onto the phone and fell to the ground, sustaining scrapes to her left elbow and knee. The victim’s eyeglasses also broke when she fell. Unfortunately, the victim was unable to obtain the vehicle’s license plate as it sped away. The officers attempted to track the phone but were unsuccessful. Report number 120794670

The officers conducted a warrant check and also learned that the suspect was on parole for…you guessed it! Auto burglary! The suspect was booked at Ingleside Station and a parole hold was placed on him. This suspect will now spend this October in prison! Trick or treat? Report number 1207576402.
