10:10am     Unit Blk Lippard                    Suspicious device
San Francisco Sheriffs Deputies Padilla and Raleta were driving
through the Glen Park area when they were approached by a concerned
citizen who advised them that there was a suspicious package on
Lippard Street. The deputies went to the location and found the item.
They took a closer look and saw that the device consisted of five road
flares taped together with duct tape with nails sticking out of the
flares and another unidentified Black plastic object under the flares.
Taking no chances, the deputies notified dispatch and requested
officers to the scene. Several Ingleside units arrive and set up a
perimeter around the scene and advised the residents in the area to
shelter in place. The San Francisco Police Department’s EOD unit came
out and with their special equipment; Officers Hara and Smith rendered
the device safe. The end result was no one was injured and no property
was damaged. The case is still under investigation. Report Number:

not pay attention to them because she was almost to her car. Suddenly
