Tuesday, March 19th, 2013
2:10pm       Farnum/Moffitt                       Robbery
Officer Johnson responded to the 300 block of Addison Street regarding a robbery with a gun. She spoke with the victim who had responded home after the robbery took place. The victim said she was standing at the MUNI bus stop located at Farnum and Moffitt Street when a suspect approached her from behind. The suspect then confronted the victim by pointing a Black gun with an Orange tip at her stomach and said, “Give me your phone!”. The victim, fearing for her safety, handed her new Iphone over to the suspect. The suspect grabbed the phone and fled, running down Moffit towards Diamond Street. The victim said her phone was new, therefore had not set up the tracking feature. The victim said she would be able to identify the suspect if she saw him again. Report Number: 130228205.

Wednesday, March 20th, 2013
8:44am       5200 Diamond Heights           Robbery
Officer Morgante responded to 5200 Diamond Height on a report of a street robbery. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the victim, who said she was waiting at the bus stop along with the two suspects who were at the bus stop as well. The victim was talking on her Iphone when one of the suspects put his hand on the victim and demanded she left go of her phone by saying, “If you don’t let go, we will blow your head off”. Fearing for her safety, the victim handed over her Iphone. Once the suspect grabbed the phone, both suspects walked away crossing over on to Duncan Street. The victim walked in the opposite direction until she got home and called the police. The victim was not hurt in the incident. Report number: 130230216

Thursday, March 21st, 2013
5:00pm       Unit Blk Ora                           Burglary
Officers Gordon and Bernard went to the unit block of Ora Way regarding a burglary call. They spoke with the victim who said she came out of her residence at approximately 5:00pm on 03/19/2013 only to find out that someone had broken into her vehicle, which was parked in her driveway. The victim searched her vehicle and found out that her remote garage door opener had been taken from inside. On today’s date, she came home and found out that her bicycle and a pair of shoes had been stolen from inside her garage area. The victim informed the officers that she strongly suspected that whoever broke into her vehicle, days earlier, came back and used the remote garage door opener to gain entry into the garage area. Nothing else was reported missing. Report Number: 130250941
Remember, if you leave your vehicle parked out on the street, do not leave your remote garage door opener inside the car. Take it with you.

Officers O’Leary and Hom were dispatched to the Safeway supermarket located on the 5200 block of Diamond Heights regarding two unknown suspects who stole a Safeway customer’s wallet from her cart. Upon arrival, the officers interviewed the victim who stated she was shopping for her groceries when two unknown suspect walked up to her cart and took her wallet. The suspects then proceed to run out the store. The victim said she may recognize the suspects if she saw them again. The officers contacted the manager and requested footage from the stores surveillance video. Report Number: 130245237

Yesterday was a great day at the Glen Park Small Business Stroll presented by the San Francisco Public Library’s Small Business Center and our Glen Park Branch Library!
Participating merchants were @bird.beckett , @perchsf , @theclarktechnique , @pebblescafesf , @glen_park_station_bar and Glen Park historian Evelyn Rose did a BART history talk at the Glen Park BART station.
