persons by unknown persons to kill him. It was the second time in two
days that the same man, at the same address, reported the same crime.
The day before officers inspected the premises and found no evidence
of attempted break in.This day, Ingleside Officers Noble, Bautista,
Casey, Quema, and Hermorsura performed another home inspection and
again, found no merit to the call. A computer check revealed the
caller was on felony probation for narcotics with a search condition.

8:17am 3300 Blk Mission Counterfeit Currency
A sharp eyed and delicate fingered store clerk helped police arrest a
woman attempting to pass counterfeit currency. The clerk told
Ingleside Officers Dilag and Tran that the woman approached her
customer service counter and asked to change a $100 dollar bill into
20 $5 bills. The clerk said the bill was “weird looking”, had no
watermarks, was dark in color, and “felt soft” to the touch. The store
managers told the clerk to hold onto the counterfeit bill and call
police. Hearing the news, the suspect left the store and was quickly
arrested a short time later by Ingleside Officers Curry and
O’Leary-Klier. A search of the suspect’s purse revealed stolen mail, a
stolen debit card, checks made out to different people, and a switch
blade knife. She was booked for possession of counterfeit currency and
illegal possession of a weapon. Report number: 140845667

With that grant they were able to print a copy of The Ray for every student and staff at Sunnyside. The Ray, the school’s art and literary journal has been in publication for 17+ years.
🎥 This year’s theme is FILM, and students wrote scripts, designed movie posters, and painted Hollywood stars.
⭐️Glen Park Library, 2825 Diamond Street, features STARS made by Kindergarten classes, depicting their own Hollywood Walk of Fame.

See this and other student artwork from The Ray around Glen Park throughout the summer!
