Diamond/Bosworth intersection update

May 7, 2015 by Elizabeth Weise

From SFMTA:
Last week, our crews were able to pour half of the foundation on the northeast (formerly Citibank) corner.
This week, we’re pouring the foundation on the remaining half of that corner.  Crews will also begin putting in the decorative brick band on this corner.
Next week, we expect to be completing the brick band work on the northeast corner and start pouring the ADA ramps at the crosswalk.  We are continuing to work on the electrical and sub-foundation elements on the southwest (Glen Park Market) corner.  After the sub-foundation work is complete, crews will start the prep the curb and pour the foundation.   Access to the businesses on the southwest  corner will be maintained throughout this work.   Our efforts will be focused on the southwest corner in order to reopen the eastbound Bosworth traffic lane as soon as possible.
The project signs are posted at the intersection.

Have you had a chance to meet Michelle and her beautiful butterfly and caterpillar garden? It’s on Elk Street between Paradise and Chenery! If you’re lucky to see Michelle outside ,she’ll point out the cute little caterpillars in the garden.
