7:57pm San Jose/Randall D.U.I
A traffic collision resulted in the arrest of a driver of one of the
vehicles. Ingleside Officer Canning investigated a rear-end collision
involving two vehicles. The driver of the first vehicle told Canning
that he stopped at a red light when the second vehicle collided with
him from behind. He was injured slightly and later transported to the
hospital for a back injury. The second driver showed obvious signs of
intoxication and admitted to consuming a six pack of beer prior to the
collision. Officer Canning also noticed several empty beer cans in his
vehicle. The driver failed a roadside sobriety test. He was
transported to Mission Police Station where a breathalyzer test and a
blood test were administered. After the test, the suspect was
transported to the county jail and booked for DUI. Report number:

Monday, September 8th, 2014

9:42pm Diamond/Bosworth Drugs
Ingleside Officers Alday and Hauscarriague were on routine patrol when
they spotted a man walking northbound on Diamond Street, near
Bosworth, with an open can of beer. They stopped the man and ran a
computer check which showed the suspect was on felony probation with a
search condition for felony assault. A search of his pockets turned up
several prescription narcotics. He was taken to the Hall of Justice
and booked for possession of narcotics, probation violation, and
consuming an open alcoholic beverage in public. Report number:
