The report of a vehicle stuck on the Muni tracks prompted dispatch to send Ingleside officer Beltran and Sgt. Ueber to investigate. They found the driver of a Chevy Blazer standing on the sidewalk near his stuck vehicle. He told the officers that he was driving on San Jose Avenue when he felt the “wheels wobbling”. The officers noted that he had bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. They also found a half empty bottle of tequila on the driver’s seat of the Blazer. He was given a roadside sobriety test which he failed. He was driven to Mission Station where a blood alcohol test revealed an alcohol level three times the legal limit. The suspect was arrested and taken to the County Jail. Report number: 170270454

Congratulations to Sunnyside Elementary School for being awarded with a Glen Park Association Community Grant!
With that grant they were able to print a copy of The Ray for every student and staff at Sunnyside. The Ray, the school’s art and literary journal has been in publication for 17+ years.
🎥 This year’s theme is FILM, and students wrote scripts, designed movie posters, and painted Hollywood stars.
⭐️Glen Park Library, 2825 Diamond Street, features STARS made by Kindergarten classes, depicting their own Hollywood Walk of Fame.

See this and other student artwork from The Ray around Glen Park throughout the summer!
