Glen Park will host a series of summer night markets the third Saturday of each month, June through September. From 4 to 8:30 p.m., Kern Street and its parking lot will sparkle with crafts from local artists and makers against a backdrop of live music and DJ sets.
There will be a special section with activities for kids, including face-painting, stories, chalk drawing and bubbles to chase. Special offers from local merchants are also in the works.

The series is paid for by a grant from the Civic Joy Fund, which is responsible for First Thursdays downtown, block parties and other night markets across the city. It is produced by Di Brito of ArtWalk SF.
