GLEN PARK REAL ESTATE–August recap

September 9, 2025 by Amanda Martin

Happy September, Glen Park — what great weather we’ve been having!

And we’re only just now moving into Indian Summer. The world may be uncertain, and your packages might be arriving with ransom notes from UPS for tariffs (this has happened to me!), but the housing market is definitely heating up.

Things were pretty quiet this summer, but the phone is ringing again. Buyers are back out at open houses, starting to get a feel for the market. My new listing in Noe Valley (120 Hoffman) had about 100 people through each day this past weekend, and I’m hearing similar stories from other agents.

The rental market is going nuts too. Not long ago landlords had to offer incentives and wait weeks to fill vacancies. Now, most rentals are getting multiple applicants and leasing quickly—often at higher prices. For many, that frenzy makes owning a home feel like the smarter move, and they’re out there looking, especially with the mortgage rates down slightly.

On September 25th from 6–7 pm, I’ll be hosting my first live Q&A with my podcast partner, Ying He, for our Bay Insider podcast. We’ll be answering real estate and neighborhood questions, and I’d love for you to join. You can sign up HERE.

I’ll report back on how the Fall market is progressing in October. If the beginning of the season is any indication, we should have a lot of activity :).

Now, for the Glen Park Transactions/Listings for the month of August:

Here’s a look at what sold in the month of August–

Here’s a look at what’s currently in contract–

And lastly, the inventory that is currently available in Glen Park–
