Hello friends and supporters of the Glen Park Greenway,
Our next work party will be on Saturday May 4! I hope that you’ll be able to join us. Please email me to tell me if you will be there.
- We’ll start at 9:00 – there’ll be coffee waiting for you
- Meet at the top of the Chilton Ave cul-de-sac beside 88 Chilton Ave.
- We’ll stop at 12:00 – we’ll have sandwiches and cookies for lunch
This work party is all about protecting the trees and shrubs from weeds. Our wonderfully wet winter has set us up for a good summer for the trees and shrubs that we’ve planted, but we need to clear the annual weeds from around the plantings.
SFPW will lend us tools and provide the materials that we need. The Clean & Green Team will also be there to lend a hand. I hope that you will join us.
