Our December Work Party is just over one week away. I’m sure that this week it is hard to see beyond Thanksgiving!
But please don’t lose sight of our December Work Party, because it’s our annual Planting Party when we take advantage of the rain-soaked soil to get plants and acorns in the ground. Many thanks to those who have already contacted me to say that you will join us. Please reply to this email and tell me that you’ll be there too.
We’ll meet at 9am on Saturday, December 6, at the top of the Chilton Avenue cul-de-sac. The nearest house address is 88 Chilton Ave. We’ll have freshly brewed coffee waiting for you thanks to the generosity of Andytown Coffee Roasters in Canyon Market
At 12pm we’ll stop work and get together for sandwiches generously provided by Jamie Ennis Real Estate
On planting days there is often more to do than we can finish in the morning, so some of us may stay after lunch to finish the job
Even if you can’t come for the entire morning, please come for an hour or two – and please try to join us for lunch.
If you’re planning to come to the Work Party please email me to tell me. We’ll send you the sandwich menu on Wednesday of next week so that you can pick one. We’ll have it ready for you at lunch time.
