This Independence Day marked a historic milestone as our nation celebrated 250 years of American independence, freedom, and service. As families and friends gathered throughout San Francisco, the members of Ingleside Station were honored to help ensure a safe holiday for our community. This anniversary served as an opportunity to reflect on the values that have shaped our country—freedom, courage, service, and community—and to recognize the important role we all play in keeping our neighborhoods safe and welcoming.

While the holiday was certainly a noisy one throughout the district, we are pleased to report that Ingleside experienced a safe Fourth of July. We had no reported injuries, no reported structure fires, and no reported property damage related to the holiday celebrations. We appreciate the cooperation of our residents and visitors in helping make this year’s celebration a safe one for everyone.

We also hope many of you had the opportunity to enjoy San Francisco’s annual fireworks display over the Golden Gate Bridge. Although the evening’s fog may have obscured the view for some, the holiday remained a memorable celebration of our nation’s 250th birthday and the spirit that brings our communities together.
