Online registration for Earthquake Brace & Bolt (EBB) is now open, and it will remain open through February 21, 2024.

Earthquake Brace + Bolt provides grants up to $3,000 toward a seismic retrofit for qualifying homes. The program is now available in 815 California ZIP Codes, INCLUDING 94131, which is the largest expansion since EBB began. If you are not in Zip Code 94131 go to the EBB home page to see if homes in your community are in an eligible ZIP Code.
This year, EBB is again offering an additional supplemental grant (SG) to income-eligible homeowners. If the household’s annual income is $87,360 or less, homeowners may qualify for an SG that could pay for up to 100 percent of the seismic retrofit.
Last October when the Glen Park News announced this program, registration was closed and people were referred to sign up for updates. Now that registration is open you can apply for the EBB retrofit.
