Thursday March 24, Bird & Beckett kicks off a regular bash that’ll take place in the bookshop every third month for the sole purpose of celebrating Glen Park, toasting a merchant or community member with music, chatter and libations.
This time out, Soo Emens is in the spotlight, serenaded by her friends in the droll little band called the Potrero Hillbillies, with intermission piano by the ebullient Eric Shifrin. Indulge your community spirit and come mingle with your neighbors to share your enthusiasm for the little things that are constantly evolving and making Glen Park sparkle — the greenway, the canyon & Islais Creek, the murals, the plaza next to Pono Salon…
