Serious incidents:

08:00 a.m. 300 Block of Surrey St. Burglary Officers Johnson and Yu responded to a report of a residential burglary. The victim stated that he entered his garage in the morning and found that the garage door had a broken window, the door was open, and two bicycles and a backpack were missing from the garage. The victim also observed that a makeshift tool had been left behind, attached to the manual release lever of his garage door. Report number 210399956

2700 Block of Diamond St. Burglary Officer Yu and Johnson responded to a report of a residential burglary. Upon arrival, the officers observed a damaged garage door and a makeshift tool used to disable the garage door’s manual release cord. The victim stated that she entered her garage and saw that her garage door window was broken. The victim was unable to determine at that time if anything had been stolen from inside her garage. Report number 210399940.

Serious incidents:

08:45 p.m. 300 Block of Laidley St.

Burglary Officers Johnson and Yu responded to a report of a residential burglary. The victim stated that she awoke to find her refrigerator open, and personal items missing from inside her home. The victim also determined that some items had been left behind by whoever had entered her home. The victim believed that the suspect may have entered her home through an unlocked rear door. The officers processed the scene for evidence, and the incident remains under investigation. Report number 210401959.
