Twin Peaks Figure 8 Redesign Next Steps

February 2, 2019 by Melinda Sullivan

Thanks again to all who came to our community open house this Spring and to those who provided input via email.  We have integrated much of this feedback and have a preliminary conceptual design for a linear park or “promenade” in the location of the closed roadway.

RPD planners will be working to coordinate among city agencies and to identify funding for final design and construction of both a permanent promenade and improvements on a few associated trail sections that were not improved as part of the Twin Peaks Trails Improvements Project due to limited funding.

Please stay tuned for updates on the project as RPD staff will continue to keep community members informed.

Project inquiries can be directed to Brian.Stokle@sfgov.org / 415-575-5606.

Thanks and happy trails!

Sincerely,

Melinda Stockmann Sullivan
