Two (2) golden opportunities for beautification!

February 11, 2021 by Bonnee Waldstein

Let’s get the Greenway ready for Spring!
Join us to set up our trees and shrubs for a successful spring and summer by pulling up and cutting back the plants that would otherwise overwhelm them and compete for the sunlight and water that they need to thrive.
  • The Work Party will have two sessions:
    • 9:00am to 12-00pm OR
    • 1:00pm to 4:00pm

We will have an organizing meeting on Zoom on:

    • Monday February 15 at 7:00pm OR
    • Tuesday February 16 at 7:00pm
We’ve designed this Work Party to protect us all as much as possible from COVID. This will reduce the number of volunteers on the Greenway at any time and help us stay socially distanced. So please pick the session that suits you best.
The organizing meeting will replace the meeting that we normally have at the start of our Work Party with a cup of coffee and a cookie: we’ll find out who wants to do which tasks and approximately where on the Greenway we each prefer to work. We’ll also identify who will bring their own tools and which tools we need to borrow from SFPW (let’s hear a shout out for SFPW!)
To sign up for the Work Party, please email Nicholas Dewar right away, at ndewar@ppcollab.com. We look forward very much to working with you again on the Greenway!

Let’s Clean the Cut!
Neighbors on the Bernal side of the Bernal Cut are hosting monthly cleanups, and the next one happens Saturday, February 20, from 10 a.m. to noon. Let’s join forces and clean the Arlington Path!
The Bernal Cut Restoration Project has coordinated with the city to provide tools and trash bags. Pick up supplies at the east end of the Richland Bridge, south side.
Please show up –and consider becoming a regular part of the force, starting Feb 20!
