Glen Park Beautiful is hosting three upcoming events that we’d love to see you at.
- October 21st: This is your opportunity to meet renowned artist Dana Albany who will share an initial draft for a mosaic mural that will be installed at the rear of the courtyard that is next to Pono Boutique. Join us at the GP library from 6:30pm – 7:30pm. Please register here.
- October 27th: As part of Walktober and SF Stairway Month, there will be a book talk and show of how over 900 stairways have been mapped. Panelists will include Aileen Barr (tile artist for many of SF’s iconic stairways, including our own Burnside stairs), Mary Burk (author of Stairway Walks in San Francisco), and Alex Kenin (author of the Urban Trails series and stairway mapper). This event will take place at Bird & Beckett from 7:00pm- 8:30pm. Please register here
- November 7th: It is San Francisco Public Works/District 8 Beautification Day and Glen Park Beautiful invites you to lend a hand (or two) to help remove the remaining invasive ivy and beautify the Glen Park School side of the Bosworth Pedestrian Bridge. Mark your calendar now for an enjoyable morning with neighbors. Children are welcome. Please register here, using “Bosworth Team” in the “Organization” field.
