Update: Glen Park is open for essential business – April 19, 2020

Today’s Alert SF: Covering your face with a cloth or mask is now required while in
essential businesses & public spaces in SF: www.sf.gov

Since our last post on local business hours, there’s been a mandatory tightening of hours of operation for groceries. Some other businesses that remain open have opted to reduce their hours as well.  Here’s the latest:

Food and Beverages – Take out only:

Bello coffee shop: Mon.-Fri. 7-1;  Sat. 7:30-5;  Sun. 8-5

Buddies Market: 9:30 – 8

Canyon Market: 8-8 everyday, general public;  7-8 a.m. everyday, seniors only

Cheese Boutique: Tues. – Sat. 10-4

Chenery Market (at Randall): between 9:30 and 10 a.m.- 8 p.m. everyday

Cuppa: 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. Online or to go.  Call 415-839-5282

Destination Bakery: Tues. – Fri. 6:30 – 6;   Sat. 7-4

Glen Park Market (Diamond/Bosworth): Mon.-Fri. 6 a.m. – 9 p.m.;   Sat.-Sun. 8 a.m.-8 p.m.

One Waan Thai restaurant: 4:30 – 9 p.m.everyday – take out and delivery

Pebbles Cafe: Mon.-Sat. 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Tekka sushi restaurant: 5-9:30 p.m. everyday. Free delivery-min. $40. Alcohol to go, 10% off; 20% off with cash

 

Medical:

Dignity Health Urgent Care: Mon.-Fri. 8-8;   Sat.-Sun. 9-5

Glen Park Chiropractic: Essential patients by appointment only. Call for evaluation 415-333-4800

Congratulations to Sunnyside Elementary School for being awarded with a Glen Park Association Community Grant!
With that grant they were able to print a copy of The Ray for every student and staff at Sunnyside. The Ray, the school’s art and literary journal has been in publication for 17+ years.
🎥 This year’s theme is FILM, and students wrote scripts, designed movie posters, and painted Hollywood stars.
⭐️Glen Park Library, 2825 Diamond Street, features STARS made by Kindergarten classes, depicting their own Hollywood Walk of Fame.
