James Lick is the Middle school feeder for students at Glen Park Elementary. It’s also home to one of the district’s continuation middle school Spanish immersion programs, so if your student is in Spanish immersion, they could continue with Spanish there.
Either way, there’s no better way to get to know the school your child might attend that going to see a theater production there. So parents, consider going to see a fun show and your child’s future school!
Greetings Glen Park friends. The students and staff of James Lick Middle School at 1220 Noe Street would love to invite you to join us Thursday November 5th through Saturday November 7th for one of 4 public performances of our annual musical theatre production of A Chorus Line: Teen Edition. You may get tickets at eventbrite.com or by scanning the QR code on the poster.

A Chorus Line is a stunning concept musical capturing the spirit and tension of a Broadway ensemble audition. Exploring the inner lives and poignant ambitions of professional Broadway performers, the show features one powerhouse number after another, including “What I Did for Love,” “One,” “I Can Do That,” “At the Ballet,” “The Music and the Mirror” and “I Hope I Get It.” A brilliantly complex fusion of song, dance and compellingly authentic drama, the show was instantly recognized as a classic. A Chorus Line: Teen Edition is a full-length version of the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical, adapted for performance by students with family audiences. Every aspect of the show has been developed specifically for student performers: dialogue and content are age-appropriate, dance sequences are of a length befitting student dancers. Directed by Keith Carames with Music Direction by Jorell Chavez and Choreography by Vince Chan.
